Below are some of the pictures of structures I&#8217;d previously collected together.<\/p>\n<p>I probably romanticise these forms in part because my father worked as a civil engineer, and <em>his<\/em> father was a Clerk of the Works on post-war government building programmes in the middle-east. When I was born, and my father was just starting out in the industry, he had to spend a lot of time living and working in lighthouses around the British coast, so lighthouses feature a lot as a visual
