Thinking about language

I went to a charity bookshop today and picked up a few books that might inform my investigation for the Position brief.

I remember dreading Chaucer in A-level, but once I got underway with it I loved it. The themes were the same as today, nothing has changed! And once I got my head round the Middle English it became strangely intuitive.

Likewise with Clockwork Orange. I always loved the glossary of terms at the back and this is what inspired me to get the other two books. Jargon translated.
