Symposium presentation brief

As a response to my workshopped symposium brief I am contemplating experimenting with various moving-image based approaches, ranging from filming existing (or inserted) obstructions in a given area, to filming a physical theatre performer in mini interactions with obstructions, or creating a virtual gallery of obstructions.

Firstly, though, I have combined my still photographs of obstructions into a single animated gallery for my paper. I have worked through the typologies approach and frustratingly, I have ended up rejecting it. Instead, I will discuss the objects, their language and materiality as a whole; picking out examples to talk about in more detail.

I have combined them here into an animated gallery, which I may or may not use in my symposium presentation.
