Moving imagery

I’ve been filming all of these obstructions with my mini Lumix DMC-LX15 and no tripod. I have quite a steady hand and it has allowed me maintain a benign presence, in filming quietly and quickly without arousing the suspicion of security, or any other agencies.

It has constrained me though in filming static shots only; with the public walking, cycling or driving past to provide the movement and scale to the imagery.

At the weekend, however, I borrowed an Oslo mobile 2 gymbal from the CSM loan store, in order to stabilise moving shots on my mobile phone. It immediately allowed me to move along long lines of bollards, and the endless hoardings screening work-in-progress around the Kings Cross development. It enabled me to show the experience of these objects.
